Although in a
sense Kanazawa, may look like Kyoto
for both cities have managed to preserve large aspects of their cultural
heritage, they diverge in that Kyoto is relevant
on the ancient court way of life and arts while Kanazawa bears many tracks of the samurai
clan culture. Only 30 minutes by train from Kaga Onsen station, the
capital of Ishikawa prefecture, Kanazawa, is one
of the few great castle towns of Japan that has managed to save its
historical vestiges and promote modern city infrastructures at the same time. Kanazawa has a lot of places worth visiting like the feudal castle and its park,
the highly refined Kenrokuen garden, the Higashi district, where geishas still
practice their art, the Nagamachi samurai district and the 21st
century museum, dedicated to nowadays artistic creation.
Taking account of your likings and availability, we
can help you to plan an excursion to this great city while you are staying in
Beniya Mukayu.
If you would like to spend the whole day in Kanazawa, the best way is

and general information, drive you to Kaga Onsen station and pick you up there
when coming back. As well we can propose to make a reservation for you in some
of Kanazawa's most reputed restaurants, where

fresh fish and local fine rice or teppanyaki grill.
We can also arrange for you a five hours excursion
to three places you should choose in Kanazawa
