This year, according to the blossoming, the entrance is free only from the 5th until the 11th of April and close exceptionally at 9.30pm to admire the cherry blossoms under spotlights.

Kanazawa has a lot of places worth visiting like the feudal castle and its park, the highly refined Kenrokuen garden, the Higashi district, where geishas still practice their art, the Nagamachi samurai district and the 21st century museum, dedicated to nowadays artistic creation.
